I've had these sitting around for a while now, but I never bothered to upload them. Anyways, here's my second pass at mixing all the tracks down properly. I've also fixed some issues with the difference in levels between tracks and the compression quality is a little better.

You can find the updated tracks in the same place:
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! I write today with great happiness and joy as I present to you the first cut of my new album DangerMountainAndTheMechanicalSpirits.

I'll be spending the next couple of weeks cleaning up several of the tracks, I need to adjust the levels of the instrument tracks on some of the songs, and working with Bob Souza to make some beautiful and provocative artwork for the album. That's only if he can stop being a giant vagina for 5 minutes and actually put something down on paper, hahaha! To quote, "Blah Blah BLah I'm a VAGINA and I don't want to do art today!"

So if you feel so inclined, please give the songs a listen and leave a comment. I'd prefer it if they weren't just ass kissy comments as well. Please be critical and tell me what sucks, in addition to what you enjoy.

You can grab the tracks, fully tagged 256 kb/s mp3s here:
Well, I've been working on my music heavily for the past few months and I've churned out some pretty hot jams. I want to spread the musical love to as many people as possible, so I made a myspace artist account and uploaded some of them. Hate all you want, but this site ain't seeing that much traffic, and running a webserver on a residential connection isn't quite legal either, so eat my ass. It's the most efficient way to get other people to hear my shit. At least until I make a legitimate music streaming tool. So check out my tunes on myspace (shudder): http://myspace.com/relevasius

Whether or not that title makes any sense is debatable, but its essence is on point. Pictures make for enjoyable viewing, commentary, and procrastination. So please, take a gander at the two new galleries and drop some comments.

Some people are bored. So bored in fact, that they resort to reading the words on this site apparently. And they don't just want the mundane prattle of "I went poo, and wiped my butt clean." They want BLOOD, and who am I to deny such needs.

So I present to you the first coming of the Angry Post Monster!

I don't like the ignorant majority who reside in Fall River. They are a sad and pitiful lot. The kind of people who, while vacationing in Candyland, would shit on a handful of skittles and ask you to taste the rainbow. They're scum, and they ruin what could be a pretty cool place to live.

It's ruined because they provide nothing to the community. A city needs positive feedback in order to grow, socially, culturally, and economically. With a diverse crowd of educated folk comes new ideas, which provides the framework for change. It might actually lead to there being something interesting to do in this city, but sadly, there's nothing to attract that type of person here, since the mindless herd make life quite intolerable.

For instance, on Mother's Day, my brother and I were skating around on Wilson Rd, when a car full of shitheads came along. One decided it'd be a great idea to yell "Get the fuck outta da road!" as they drove by. In return he received the obvious reaction of a WTF shoulder shrug.

WTF Shoulder Shrug

How dare we! They stopped the car up the road, and the loudmouth exited the vehicle exclaiming, "Yo!" as he exited. To which I replied, "Yo," and proceeded to skate up to meet him. As we neared the vehicle he says to Bobby, "Ay I told youze ta get da fuck outta da road. Whadidya flip me off?" Puzzled, my brother and I respond, "No." I mean the situation was quite confusing, if anyone should have been angry, Bobby and I were suspects 1 and 2. I, not being a very violent person, not wanting to fight on Mother's Day, quite tired from skating around, and outnumbered offered my hand and said, "No man, no disrespect from this side." To which he mumbled something indecipherable and refused to shake my hand.

Bobby and I left and conquered Airport Road, the very steep hill portion at the end near Trash Mountain.

I hate stupid people.
Guitar Hero II came out for the Xbox 360 and it is sucking my life away. Currently, I'm trying desperately to get 5 stars on "Crazy On You" by Heart, and it's just not happening on Hard. I got 95% and a 200 note streak for fuck's sake and it still decided my playing was only above average, how depressing. I must say my GHII skills have blown up, but I'm still modest. I'd rather rock together in Co-Op, than spill the blood of the innocent in Pro FaceOff, but that's partly because I realize there's about 10 thousand other people much better than I, and no one really enjoys losing, not even imaginary people.

Aside from shredding the plastic, I've been splitting my time between work, the gym, and longboarding (a.k.a. cruising around industrial park on a long ass skateboard). Ponyboy decided to buy one a couple weeks back, and I figured it'd be pretty cool to cruise around together. So, I visited the interweb and purchased a 46" long, 10" wide piece of bamboo on 4 wheels. It's a pretty slick looking thing, here's a http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yhst-67480395370540_1944_612711 link.

I've taken a couple nasty spills so far. The last one fucked me up. I've got a couple nice bruises/scrapes on my right leg, torso, and elbow. I also wacked the shit out of my left hand, but I'm not quite sure what I did to it, medically speaking. There's a pretty nice bruise on the bottom of my palm and around my thumb, and the 2nd knuckle of my thumb is still pretty stiff, sharp pains every time I make a fist. Oh well, it's definitely getting better.

All in all, it's nice to be doing activities that don't involve me sitting at a computer, but I've definitely got to buckle down and get some work done soon. Let's hope this post and your comments will be the catalyst.

Oh, I've also started working on a new electronic album. It's going to be called "Danger Mountain and the Mechanical Spirits." There's a couple of links in the last post's comments to a couple of tracks' rough drafts. Let me know what you think.

Bye Bye

I've been trying to make myself post something, but sadly I lack any coercive ability, failing to convince even myself that I've something worthwhile to say. How depressing, cry, dribble, tear, done.

Actually I have lots to say, but I find it hard to make time to type it up on a screen. I do that with almost everything. Take this site as an example. I spent so much time coming up with a design before I came up with something I liked (I went through 3). Then I create the mothafucka and I don't finish it (seen to the work or music page lately, cause I haven't). Even my damn image gallery is incomplete. I've still got like five more galleries to upload and even more pics for existing galleries like the move home. Man I suck.

On another note, check this out (open it in a new window, the property that makes a link do that automatically is no longer valid as of XHTML 1.1, sigh):

bitconsortium v1.0

Pretty neat, huh? Now look at the url...SCRAPPED. That page is a little too image heavy and it won't look correct in IE6 without some hacking action for PNG transparency. So onto the next one:

bitconsortium v2.0

I like it, Friar doesn't so out the window it goes and through the door I see the shadow of Version 3:

bitconsortium v3.0

Which I like much more than #2. It's not finished yet obviously, but it's being worked on. Yes I'm going to finish it, but I may need some graphical assistance. See I can't really draw all too well which makes creating appealing imagery a little difficult. Maybe if I had a good scanner or a Wacom tablet I'd be able to produce some sexy graphics, but I just don't have the talent/desire to do it with a mouse.

Friar and I are also working on this little gem SMS Which you can't get to so here's the page I use to work on it. I doubt any of you will ever have a need for this, but we think it's pretty neato.

Time for cake.

So I finally got around to throwing up some more pics. Check them out if you feel inclined to do so. I don't see why you wouldn't want to look at them, but if that's the case, desiring to not view, then I have to respect that decision, even though I'll hate you. HAHAHAHA.

Not many of you would have noticed, nor would any of you have cared, but when my server was a Windows machine it liked to crash and burn... a lot. Why? Well see that feed over on the right of my most recently played jams? The code it uses has a conflict with the Windows flavor of Apache and causes Apache to throw in the towel after several rounds of heated battle, legendary really. If you're like WTF is Apache, let me tell you that it's a program that allows your computer to be a web server, so stop with all the profanity.

If you were to mathicize my dilemma the equation would look something like this:

Windows + Apache + Frequent crashes = NOT A RELIABLE SERVICE!

So, I switched my server back to a Linux Box running Slackware 11 as was/is highly recommended by John Friar III. After a few tweaks, namely upgrading PHP from 4 to 5, everything is running smoothly once again.

So what's the point of me telling all of you this? Well if you see any wierd shit let me know. Simple as that.
So I'll spare all the grimy details on how I finally obtained one, leaving us with an emotionless, terse, and boring version of the affair. I'm speaking of the Nintendo Wii, which George, Bobby (ponyboy), and I have owned since Sunday morning at approximately 9:49 am EST.

It's everything I could hope for and more.

Poor little Ponyboy just couldn't hang though. He promptly crashed like a diabetic in the living room circa 11:00 am and would not move, despite several coercive attempts, until 6:00 pm that evening. I took a few 20 minute power naps throughout the day, the best being on the car ride back from Attleboro, where we had traveled to taste the delicious flavor of Arby's. Sadly, my naps cost Bobby (my brother) a few extra odometer rotations, as he missed a couple exits.

Jake and Kin returned from the mountain, where they had been snowboarding, to bowl a few frames and hit up the links. There were good times to be had by all. Kim and Jayde kicked my ass earlier in the afternoon in bowling, but I held it down on the tennis courts. We even tried our hands at a little surgery Trauma Center style.

Call me up and come over and play if you want cause it's a fuckin blast.
